Pascha Celebrations in the Cathedrals and Churches of the Slavic Orthodox Vicariate
April 29, 2022On the night of April 23 to 24, the festive Paschal services were held in the churches and cathedrals of the Slavic Orthodox Vicariate of America.
At the Cathedral of St. Matrona of Moscow in Miami, Florida, which is the main church of the Vicariate, Pascal Matins and Divine Liturgy were celebrated by Archimandrite Alexander, the Vicar, and Archpriest Mikhail Gutsul.
In the Cathedral of St. John the Forerunner in Brooklyn, NY, the Paschal services were led by Archpriest Alexander Belya, Rector of the Cathedral, and Protodeacons Peter Utkin, Volodymir Oliynyk and George Hero.
At the Parish of St. Nicholas in Red Bank, NJ, Pascha was celebrated by its rector, Fr. Rostislav Zadorozhny.
In the Parish of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Paschal service was officiated by its rector, Archpriest Andrei Pastukh.
At the Monastery of St. Nicholas in Fort Myers, Florida, the Paschal celebration was conducted by Archpriest Vasily Deyak and Abbot David.
