Congratulations to Vicar Archimandrite Alexander on the Day of His Patron Saint

Dear beloved in the Lord, Archimandrite Alexander!

On the day of remembrance of Saint Alexander, Bishop of Jerusalem, your patron saint, we warmly congratulate you on your name day!

Saint Alexander, a faithful disciple of the great teachers of the Church, the founder of the renowned Jerusalem Library, and a courageous confessor of Christ, showed by his life that the chief truths of priestly ministry lie in love for the Word of God, the enlightenment of souls, and the unwavering defense of the truth.

In his Second Epistle to Timothy, the Apostle Paul says:

“Hold fast the pattern of sound teaching which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. That good deposit keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us” (2 Tim. 1:13–14).

May the example and prayerful intercession of your patron saint always strengthen you in this.

May the Lord, through the prayers of Saint Alexander, grant you spiritual and physical health, inexhaustible spiritual joy, patience, and wisdom in your labors; and may the Most Holy Mother of God cover you with her honorable omophorion.
