
A meeting of the clergy of the Slavic Orthodox Vicariate of America was held in Brooklyn
September 23, 2025On September 23, after a meeting with His All-Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew, a meeting of the clergy of the Slavic Vicariate was held at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Brooklyn.
The meeting was led by Vicar Archimandrite Alexander (Belya), Bishop-elect of Niсopolis. In his address, Archimandrite Alexander focused on current issues in the life of the Vicariate as a whole and at the parish level, thanking the fathers for their work and service in their respective locations.
During the meeting, clergy from different states had the opportunity to get to know each other better and discuss issues of parish life, as well as the strategy for the development of the Vicariate and the opening of new parishes.
In conclusion, the clergy thanked the rector of Brooklyn Cathedral, Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Olexander Belya, for his hospitality and for the opportunity to hold the meeting.
